Last Friday, at about 8am, I was most definitely not okay.
Sure, we were running a little late for work and I didn't even have my shoes on yet. But as we were getting lunch into the canvas bag we always use, the day took a Deadman's Curve toward the worse.
CRASH!
Lukas and I ran into the rear of the apartment, only to find my toilet shattered and water spraying absolutely everywhere. What neither of us noticed at the time was that there was a lot more damage than we thought. It turned out that a woman in the complex had just got back from her late night shift and either fell asleep at the wheel of her car or was really not paying attention

Okay. So a friend of mine linked me to the whole "Kindle Worlds" thing, and she thinks it's interesting. I'm not so sure. While there might be a chance--obscure and small though I believe it to be--that fan fic authors might get cash and recognition, I think that maybe the risks outweigh the benefits.
I mostly am leery of this platform for a couple of reasons:
1. Amazon retains the RIGHTS to your work once published.
2. Creativity is limited by the guidelines set forth by Amazon and the original content creator/institution
